- Instrumental in organizing, arranging, managing and inventory of museum specimens of Red Sea fauna at King AbdulAziz University Museum (KAUMM)
- Experienced in coastal and offshore zooplankton sampling using a range of plankton nets, and meiobenthos sampling via tube corers, box corers and Van-Veen grab
- Skilled in carrying out experiments on feeding ecology and trophic transfer of UV radiation on cultured, and wild harvested, copepods / zooplankton using phytoplankton
- 4+ years of experience as demonstrator for postgraduate students on zooplankton
- Analyze and interpret zooplankton data using statistical software (PRIMER v6, Canoco v5…)
- 2+ years of experience in breeding and culture of ornamental fishes
- 1+ year experience in brood-stock maintenance and larval spat culture of marine bivalves
- Maintenance and culture of phytoplankton from stock cultures
- Experienced in zooplankton cultures (cyclopoids, harpacticoids and rotifers)
- Experienced in conducting predator-prey feeding experiments using copepods and mosquito larvae
- Experienced to use particle coulter for phytoplankton size analysis
- Experienced in using image analysis software (Leica Application Suite V4.2)
- Experienced in processing zooplankton for Histology and Scanning Electron Microscopy
